Purna means complete. In Sanskrit, the ancient Indian language, there is no term for perfect. Everything is »purna« with its bare existence. This is also what my yoga practice, my approach and my teaching stand for. Yoga is something inclusive, something so diverse and no one is good or bad at it. It is not a competition, not self-optimization. I want to bring you closer to traditional yoga here on this site and in my classes and combine it with modern scientific approaches to movement and embodiment. I want to inform you about cultural appropriation and make yoga more accessible and understandable for you.
I'm Hannah and I live in Berlin. I am a yoga student for a very long time now and since 2021 I am also a yoga teacher and pass on what has supported me throughout my life. In addition to several workshops and further education courses, I now have 500 hours of training that characterize my teaching. Thanks to my 200 hours of training in Hatha Yoga (Iyengar), I attach great importance to a healthy alignment. My 300 hours of training in Asthanga/Vinyasa have shaped my powerful and dynamic classes.
When I'm not on the yoga mat, I work as a communications consultant. And because yoga is also a form of communication for me, many aspects of it flow into my work. Yoga is communication with yourself, yoga is creative, individual, traditional and modern and so much more. Feel free to take a look around my website or get in touch with a direct request, a question or anything else you have on your mind. I‘m looking forward to meet you!
»In yoga, communication is the key to understanding the body, the mind, and the self. Through communication, we can develop the sensitivity, awareness and intuition necessary to transform our lives and our practice.« B.K.S. Iyengar
