At the moment you can find me in two studios, Yoga Circle and SHA-LA, both studios are in Berlin. Depending on the level, my classes are sometimes more and sometimes less physically intensive. In all classes, I emphasize a comprehensive, holistic practice. This includes breathing (pranayama), physical exercises (asana) and consciously getting in touch with thoughts and feelings. I also always offer hands-on adjustments. If you have any questions about the classes, please get in touch.
Especially for those who work in a daily office job, movement and breath can easily be forgotten. That’s why I offer either (1) regular courses or (2) single team events such as a team mini retreat for you and your colleagues. We will be focusing not only on movement but also on Breath and Concentration for the daily life. I‘m absolutely aware that there can be boundaries for people to exercise together with the team, so let‘s find a way that works good for all of you.
Sometimes the first step onto a yoga mat in a yoga studio is too big for the beginning. In a 1:1 lesson (or in a small private group), I will prepare you to feel safe and comfortable on your mat. I can also respond to you individually in the case of injuries. For those who want to work more intensively on individual asanas, a private lesson can also be a good option.
Whether it's discussing a specific topic, developing exercises for everyday life or preparing yourself to get back into physical activity: During an online conversation, we can plan next steps together and see where the journey leads. I'm actually not a big fan of online yoga. Nevertheless, I know that sometimes circumstances don't allow it to be any other way. And 1:1 sessions, unlike group online sessions, are a good way to provide advice and support.
Sometimes there are physical or emotional issues that require more than 45, 60 or 75 minutes of space and time. That’s why I love workshops and retreats. Here we will have enough space to connect as a group. You can find all of the important information on this page.
»We think that the point is to pass the test or overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don't really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It's just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.« Pema Chödrön
